Oink: “Hollistons Cream of Papaya Soup Comics are stories that have been carefully prepared...”

(Well, not necessarily carefully)

“...in advance in case of delays in the main story.”

“Why not have some Hollistons Cream of Papaya Soup with your toast while waiting for the main story to resume?”

Anyway, today's story is about how the previous version of this comic, Pigs and Toasters, got its name.

Frankly, I wouldn't have thought anyone would have wondered about that, but...

It seems like that's what we've got...

So without further ado, we take you to the offices of Placeholder Comics...

...a leading publisher of bureaucracy comics in Vrglnt, Berglund.

Editor: Yeah, Fred, I should be on time...

We're just about done with this week's Bureaucracy Jump.

Editor: Yeah, it looks okay all the usual crap, er, stuff. Form-maker looks good.

Assistant: Hey, boss...

We got a problem!

The censors rejected this month's Sailor Pig!

Editor: Oh, qat!

I'll have to call you back later, Fred.

Oink: I just wanted to mention that I don't know what that pig is talking about.

The Office of Moral Standards doesn't censor anything!

It just makes suggestions!

Of course, sometimes ** or *, which is really *!

Now back to our story...

Editor: Let's see...

Assistant: This is the page they didn't like...

(This is the layout, the originals are at the printers.)

Editor: Oh, bother, I told the Furutanis they couldn't get away with that!

I mean, Sailor Pig and Sailor Dog are practically groping each other...

Sailor Pig: Thank you so much, Sailor Dog!

Sailor Dog: No, no, thank you, my dear Sailor Pig!
